Use Your Trauma for Good

March 18, 2021

Have you ever wondered how to use your trauma for good?

Don’t get me wrong—there’s nothing inherently beautiful about suffering, and it’s not about romanticizing it. And no, you don’t need to go through hell and back just to create something meaningful in your life.

However, if you’re struggling to let go and getting lost in the story of “bad things always happen to me,” think about it this way:

How can you use your experience for good?
What have you learned that you teach other people?
What impactful meaning can you make from this?

Changing your perception and training your mind to focus on the good is one of the most powerful tools you’ll use throughout your healing. What’s more, sometimes the path to fully and completely healing is helping others heal too. Channeling our experience and feelings creatively. Telling the truth about what we’ve walked through and sharing it loudly.

So think about how you can tell your story to the world—globally or in your little corner. It could change someone else’s life, not only your own.
